Visitation will be at Dancy Funeral Home in Caldwell.

A girl called "J-Bird" and a "blue-eye angel" who loved music and dancing, Juliana Rose Donnelly, 6, of West Caldwell died Monday, August 19, after a long battle with a rare form of pediatric cancer, according to her obituary posted on NJ.com.

Juliana, who graduated kindergarten from Washington School in June, was surrounded by her parents, Brian and Doris Donnelly.

Juliana was diagnosed with stage IV cancer on her fifth birthday when an inoperable tumor was discovered at the base of her brain stem, explains the Juliana Rose Donnelly Trust page, which was set up to help pay for medical expenses.

Communities near and far gathered to support the family, including those in Boonton where her father Brian Donnelly is a police officer

Visitation for Juliana will be at the Dancy Funeral Home, 9 Smull Ave., Caldwell, N.J., on Thursday, August 22, from 6 to 9 p.m. and Friday, August 23, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Notre Dame Church in North Caldwell on Saturday, August 24, at 11 a.m.
