Community Update

This is a fantastic school district. However, it is lacking a World Language teacher at the elementary level. Unfortunately, due to Governor Christie's anti-child attack on education, the resulting budget cuts caused this vital program to be eliminated. The children are being taught via software, missing out on the natural nuances of human communication.
Developing language skills at a young age is becoming vital in the 21st century. Our nation needs students to gain these skills for the future of U.S. business, economics, and national security, as well as for the students' own job opportunities.
I hope that the district is considering adding a real teacher to their World Language program, even a part time teacher to periodically give the children a human element in between software instruction.
