My support for Mondsini-Driggs is still there- I think.

I was happy to see the profiles last week that stated both Mondsini and Driggs are running as Democrats for West Caldwell Council. I was also happy to see the response from them and quoting LBJ instead of Ronald Reagan. So at least “officially” they are running as Democrats.

However I am still confused as to their plan for the community. Of course I understand wanting what is best for West Caldwell, representing families and all citizens regardless of party affiliation. I would hope any aspiring elected official or current sitting elected official would do the same.

What I need to hear from Mondsini-Driggs is what exactly is their vision and what do they stand for?

If they are they for hiring more police at what expense to me and all taxpayers?

If they are for reducing debt (and I assume all elected officials are, especially Republican officials) how are they going to do that? Are you implying we will stop repairing/maintaining roads, pipes, fields? If not then are you saying we just can’t borrow money (bonding)? Isn’t that how America was built?

There are a few towns in NJ, mostly Republican, that pay cash for all projects. But that is very expensive to the taxpayers. Those Republican towns pay higher taxes as a result of paying cash immediately for all projects. Is that what you stand for?  But that somehow doesn’t add up. Please guys help me and everyone understand how you are going to reduce debt, build things, stabilize my taxes

Now how about quoting some of my favorite Democrats. True and great American heroes like Ted Kennedy, Tip O’Neil, Obama, Clinton or Biden.

Are you hosting any Democratic events in the area? Please let us know so we can attend and hopefully we can get to meet other great county leaders like Joe D and Len Luciano

Thanks for taking time to help us all understand
