Love Will See You Through

One of my favorite parts of a wedding ceremony is where I describe the significance of the wedding ring. As a wedding ring is a circle it represents eternity just as marriage is an everlasting covenant. It’s a design crafted and created by someone just as God has designed a plan for each couple. Finally I describe the process in which the ring is made of precious metal. It is made precious by the refiner’s fire. While marriages have their share of struggles and hard work, these difficulties are meant to refine a couple to be made stronger as precious metal. Like gold, our marriages are often made more precious as the temperature rises.

In life we are all refined by the fire of trials, of disappointments and of difficult situations that cause us to grow. Today, you may be experiencing a fire of pressure at work, or relationships that are struggling at home, or a hurt you are trying to heal from. I can’t tell you why and I can’t tell you when, but in God’s great love He will see you through and turn it around for His good! Trust in a love that never fails and never gives up on you.
