When we think of our own lives, we can think of a few dings and dents we've acquired along the way. Today, be transformed into all that you have been destined to become!
The other day I turned and I looked at my car. It seemed to be remarkably cleaner than the past couple of weeks. At first I thought maybe someone secretly washed my car. Then I realized it had rained recently. I noticed that while my car was now cleaner since all the salt residue had been washed away I could see more of the imperfection, the little dings and dents that have been acquired over time. When we think of our own lives, we can think of a few dings and dents we’ve acquired along the way. We’re all imperfect in one way or another, there’s something about our past or even our present that we would like to change. Sometimes we tend to think that if we come to God our imperfections will be revealed which will be followed by embarrassment, shame and even judgment from others who see our dings and our dents. Listen, you want to hear the confession of a Pastor? I confess, I am sorry for every person who ever condemned you, who wrote you off and made you feel there was no reason to hope. In a culture that encourages facades of perfection God desires to transform us by His awesome power and unending love. Today, face your dings and your dents and be transformed into all that you have been destined to become!
