West Essex High's Librarian Creates Holiday 'Book Tree'

The 'book tree' was well received by students.

West Essex High School librarian Rosemary Rich wanted to celebrate the holidays in the High School Library so she created book tree using books representing every section in the library.

The blue and white tree was changed to have the red "A Christmas Carol," by Charles Dickens added to the top just under the "Peace" sign to make it more festive.

High School senior Gabe Angeles, who dropped by the library, was impressed with Rich's creativity.

"It makes me happy," Gabe said. "I like it because it has geometry featured and I like geometry and it has the word peace and we all need some peace in our lives from time to time."
