Help Feed Local Families This Thanksgiving

Donate your turkey or nonperishable foods on Monday, Nov. 25, at the Trinity Academy gym.

St. Aloysius Church is looking to help feed those less fortunate this Thanksgiving.

If you have a turkey or turkey breast that you would like to donate, bring either or both frozen to the vestibule of the Trinity Academy gym, located behind St. Aloysius Church, on Monday, Nov. 25, between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m.

Nonperishable food items and cash donations, as well as supermarket gift cards are also welcome.

Volunteer will be waiting to help you unload your donation at the gym that day.

The items will be distributed to local families and help to fill the freezers of Saint John’s Soup Kitchen. On many days, St. John’s makes two pots of turkey soup to help feed about 200 hungry people. The collection is sponsored by St. Aloysius Church.
