'Real Housewives' Star to Shop at Cancer Fundraiser

Jacqueline Laurita, star of Bravo's 'Real Housewives of New Jersey' to attend Fall Harvest Shopping Extravaganza in Cedar Grove.

One of the stars of the hit Bravo TV show, “The Real Housewives of New Jersey,” will be special guest of honor at a benefit to aid Cedar Grove resident Frank Napolitano, who is battling various forms of cancer.

Jacqueline Laurita will take part in a Fall Harvest Shopping Extravaganza at a Sassy Shop Girl Events sale, according to organizer Edel Di Gagi.

“We try to get different vendors, boutiques, online vendors, and people from home who all come to show their merchandise,” said organizer Edel Di Gangi.

Di Gangi will run the event with her sister Martha Fava, who owns the online store, Sassy Shop Girl, and will open a boutique called Runway in Caldwell next month.

The shopping event will benefit Napolitano, a Cedar Grove resident who was diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer in April.

The event will feature unique items from the store as well as products from 40 vendors showcasing exclusive fashion accessories for adults and children alike. The event will also feature prizes as well as some special guests. The sale is currently in its fourth year.

This year's raffle items will include a fur coat from Sassy Shop Girl, an iPad, furniture, handbags, jewelry and more.

Tickets are being sold in advance for $15 while tickets at the door will cost $20.

The Oct. 3 event will run from 6:30 to 9 p.m. at Victor’s Chateau, located at 215 Rt. 23 South in Little Falls.
