North Caldwell Rings The Holidays With Christmas Tree, Menorah Lighting

There will also be a holiday charity for the collection of unused and unwrapped toys for children 8-15 years old that are receiving medical treatments at Hackensack University Medical Center.

North Caldwell is ringing in the holidays with a bash. 

The borough's Holiday Celebration, Joy, Peace and Goodwill for All Seasons will be held on Sunday, Dec. 1, from 4:30-6 p.m. in the borough hall municipal parking lot, at 141 Gould Ave.

This event will include menorah and Christmas tree lightings, in addition to your favorite holiday songs put on by Legendery Entertainment.

There will be marshmallows for toasting, cider, and hot cocoa provided by our local Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts, and baked goods to be enjoyed while being kept warm by the bonfire. 

Candy canes will be donated by the North Caldwell Fire Department, with a special guest appearance from Santa Claus.  There will be a craft table for kids that will be run by The Coloring Room.

As always, we will take this opportunity to honor our troops for defending our freedom at home and abroad.  

There will also be a holiday charity hosted by Mayor Joseph Alessi and the borough council, Recreation Department and Girl Scout Troop 308 for the collection of unused and unwrapped toys for children 8-15 years old that are receiving medical treatments at Hackensack University Medical Center.

Donations can be brought to the holiday celebration that evening, or can be dropped off at the Recreation Department on or before Saturday, Nov. 30.
