FOWE Membership in the Park / Children's Craft

Friends of West Essex (FOWE), a local non-profit, social membership organization for mothers, is holding its annual “Membership in the Park” event on Thursday, September 20, 2012 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Grover Cleveland Park in Caldwell.

Rain date will be Friday, September 21, 2012 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

A children’s craft also will offered at the event. Cost for the craft -- a fall themed canvas tote bag -- is $1 for FOWE members and $2 for FOWE non-members.

The annual “Membership in the Park” offers those interested in becoming members of FOWE the opportunity to learn more about the organization and the activities planned for the year from current, active members of the group. Upcoming events include a children’s outing to a pumpkin patch, ladies’ night out, and the annual Halloween party.

If people are unable to attend event and would like to learn more about FOWE, membership information can be found on www.friendsofwestessex.com or by sending an email to FOWEmoms@yahoo.com.  An annual membership fee of $35 is required to join and is used to off-set the cost of activities. A discounted rate of $25 will be offered at the “Membership in the Park” event.
