The Music and History of the Great Highland Bagpipe

The
Caldwell Public Library presents The Music and History of the Great

Highland Bagpipe on Wednesday, July 17, at 6:30 PM. Learn about the

history of the Great Highland Bagpipe with piper Richard Boesch, member

of the Clan Na Vale Bagpipe Band.  This evening will include different

types of tunes and their venues  played  on the Great Highland Bagpipe as well as a description and historical  background of the instrument and the parts of a piper’s uniform. 

This program will be held outdoors on the green.  In  the event of rain the program will be rescheduled.


The
