The Kootz in Concert at the Caldwell Public Library

The Caldwell Public Library is pleased to announce that the Kootz will be in Concert on Tuesday, October 15, 6:30PM.

The Kootz are local guys who entertain with style. In early 2001,
Roseland-'rockers'/residents Chris Bolger, Tony Dente and the late Dr. David
Frisch, along with North Caldwell's Glenn Taylor and Ben Asher decided that
they had enough 'chemistry' to assemble as a well-seasoned eclectic-'collective'.  Shortly thereafter, Joe Alexander, originally
from West Orange, was added to the lineup... and they 'haven't looked back',
since!

 Originally-known as the
"OMJ" (Old Man Jam-band), they had performed occasionally since 1993,
with annual shows at The Caldwell Street Fair and a few local clubs,
consistently-drawing positive reactions. By '01, they decided to make a 'go' of
it and... 'Kootzify'!  Now, audiences are
'wowed' at the variety of styles & material in 'The Kootz' repertoire.  The band performs a staggering 280+ shows per
year… including an annual-show at The Caldwell Street Fair for the last 15+
years; Rock Clubs to Resorts and private parties; libraries to lawn parties…
gazebos to garages… Biker-Bars to Bistros & Coffee Houses… Clubs and Pubs; "The
Kootz" always serve-up an array of the music that's at everyone's very
core!  It always makes you FEEL
GOOD!

The Kootz also released their debut
CD, "Tales From The Endless Bus Tour of New Jersey" in late '05, with
16 original AND classic-cover cuts;  A
"totally-live"-CD of classic cover-tunes, "Kootleg followed in
2009!  In 2010 they made TWO-appearances
on News-12's "Spotlight-New Jersey" program.
