Role Modeling Jewish-Christian Friendship and Dialogue

On October 31
at 7:00 pm, Join us for conversation between Father Anthony Ciorra, Ph.D.,
Assistant Vice President for Mission and Catholic Identity Sacred Heart
University, Fairfield, CT, and Rabbi Abraham Skorka, Rector and Senior Faculty
Member,Seminario Rabinico Latinamericano, Buenos Aires, Argentina. For the past 15 years, Rabbi Skorka
has engaged in dialogue and friendship with Pope Francis, previously Archbishop
of Buenos Aires. They participated in pulpit exchanges, shared dialogue on
local television broadcasts, and met systematically at one another’s offices.
An example of the product of their dialogue has been published and then
translated into English – On Heaven And Earth: Faith, Family, the Church and
Synagogue in the 21st Century



The session
will be moderated by Father Anthony Randazzo of Notre Dame Roman Catholic
Church in North Caldwell, and Rabbi Alan Silverstein of Congregation Agudath
Israel in Caldwell.
