MUSICAL: BROADWAY'S NEW GENERATION

New York Casting Director Stephen DeAngelis presents "Broadway's New Generation", an all-new concert event produced exclusively for the Rosen Theater at the Wayne YMCA (a branch of the Metropolitan YMCAs of the Oranges).

Five of musical theater's brightest young stars will share the stage to recreate some of their favorite musical moments, display their versatility and share amusing behind-the-scenes anecdotes.

Performers scheduled to appear are Jeremy Gumbs (Young Simba in the Broadway production of THE LION KING) and (Eugene Williams/Little George in THE SCOTTSBORO BOYS); Oona Laurence (Matilda in the Broadway production of MATILDA THE MUSICAL with Tony Award winner Gabriel Ebert); Taylor Richardson (Annie in the Broadway revival of ANNIE with Tony Award winners Katie Finneran and Faith Prince and Emmy Award winner Jane Lynch); Adam Riegler (Pugsley Addams in the Broadway production of THE ADDAMS FAMILY with Tony Award winners Nathan Lane and Bebe Neuwirth)  and (Young Shrek in the Broadway production of SHREK THE MUSICAL with Tony Award winner Sutton Foster) and Ariane Rinehart (Liesl Von Trapp in the NBC televised production of "The Sound of Music" with Carrie Underwood and Tony Award winners Laura Benanti and Christian Borle). Musical Director/Accompanist for the evening will be Eugene Gwozdz.

These young stars have performed alongside the biggest stars from Broadway, television, film and recording and in many instances portrayed the title role in the show in which they appeared. In addition to the musical performances, the evening will also feature a question and answer session with the audience. We hope you will join us for this unique theatrical experience which is certain to be a "can't miss" opportunity for audience members of all ages.
