12th Annual Veteran's Breakfast

                    Following the 9:00 Liturgy

In honor of Veteran’s Day celebrated on Sunday, November 11, 2012, Notre Dame Church is honoring 200 War Veteran’s from North Caldwell and the West Essex area at their 12th Annual Veteran’s breakfast in Notre Dame’s Charlie’s Place on Saturday, November 3, 2012.

Following 9:00 a.m. mass, Veteran’s will assembler in the church parking lot by the flag pole for a  21-gun salute with Marine Guard, Morris County Pipes & Drums, playing the Star Spangled Banner, and playing taps with accompaniment of bagpipes.  In attendance will be retired police chiefs from Fairfield, North Caldwell and West Caldwell, as well as Mayor Alessi of North Caldwell.  The event will then move to Charlie’s Place where veterans will enjoy military-fare breakfast—kielbasa, Italian sausage, eggs, home fries, cannoli’s, stuffed cabbage, strong coffee, spirits and dessert.
