The following letter to the editor was written by Tom Gartland, of Caldwell.

Grace Kerrigan and Maureen McNish are my choice for the Caldwell Council.

They will bring to our community a common sense approach to governing. In their past accomplishments they utilized their skills of communication and cooperation to achieve their goals. These are skills that are necessary to be an effective councilperson.

They are willing to receive input and listen to the residents of Caldwell prior to making a decision. We need good people on the Council who can work with the leaders of our surrounding communities.

If elected Grace and Maureen will govern responsibly by showing respect for their fellow elected officials.

Please vote for Grace Kerrigan and Maureen McNish this Tuesday, Nov. 5, as I will for the good of Caldwell.
