The following letter to the editor was written by Caldwell Borough Councilman Edward Durkin.I am writing to express my support for Dan Cipoletti for Caldwell-West Caldwell Board of Education.
As a lifelong resident of Caldwell and a member of the Borough Council, I understand the importance of electing people who can get the job done.
Throughout his campaign, Dan Cipoletti has demonstrated that he has what it takes to provide the leadership required to keep our schools moving forward while providing value for the people of Caldwell and West Caldwell.
I am confident that Dan will bring a lifetime of technology and management experience to the board and will help lead on developing schools that are competitive in the 21st century and beyond.
On Nov. 5, I will give Dan Cipoletti my vote and I strongly encourage the people of Caldwell and West Caldwell to do the same.
If you would like to submit a letter to the editor endorsing a candidate or candidates, send it to the editor at email@example.com and it will be posted on The Caldwell Patch.
There are two seats on the board up for grabs this November. Board members Rosanne Hansen and John King will seek reelection, and will be challenged by Dan Cipoletti, Marie Lanfrank and Charles Alberta.
The five will be on the ballot on the Nov. 5 general election. Both seats carry three-year terms.
