School Board to Vote on Budget, Library Holds Bedtime Math Party

A look at the week ahead and what stories Patch plans to cover.

—The Caldwell-West Caldwell Board of Education will meet on Monday, March 4. After learning State Aid figures last week, the board is expected to approve the 2013-14 school budget which is due to the county for approval this week. 

—The CWC District is also seeking parents, students and community members input on the topics of physical education and social studies. Visit the district website to take two quick surveys.

—Imagine a nightly math problem becoming as common as the bedtime story. The West Caldwell Public Library is hosting a Bedtime Math Pajama Party on Tuesday, March 5, at 6:30 p.m., to introduce local students and parents to Bedtime Math.

—The Caldwell Council will meet at 7 p.m. and the West Caldwell Council will convene at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.

—Tickets are now on sale for the James Caldwell High School Spring Musical Kiss Me Kate. Performances are March 21 through 24.
