Kiwanis Club Hosts Christmas Walk

Tour eight homes decked out for the holidays.

Update: Advance ticket discount extended to Wednesday, Nov. 28.

The Kiwanis Club of Caldwell-West Essex will once again host, “The Christmas Walk,” a self-guided tour of homes decorated for the holiday season.

The tour is set for Sunday, Dec. 2, from noon to 4:30 p.m

Six local homes and two historic 19th-century homes will be decked out for the holidays in this special fundraiser. A host at each house will be available to answer questions about the distinctive collections and unique décor.

Complimentary refreshments will be served at Caldwell Flowerland, 329 Bloomfield Ave., in Caldwell, as well as at the two historic sites, the Grover Cleveland Birthplace in Caldwell and the Zenas Crane Homestead in West Caldwell. Admission is $25, $30 after Wednesday, Nov. 28. Tickets and maps will be available at Caldwell Flowerland on the day of walk.

Proceeds will go to the programs sponsored by the Kiwanis Club of Caldwell-West Essex, which include Builders Clubs, Key Clubs and Circle K at local schools, the Caldwell Food Pantry, a battered women's shelter, and local families in need.

To complete the day, five local restaurants will offer special discounts to tour ticket holders.
