Caldwell's Election Results, Turkey Collections and More in the Week Ahead

Here are some of the stories we're working on and what's happening this week in the Caldwells. See you around!

—The West Caldwell Police Department Hurricane Donation Center has closed. Donated items will be loaded into tractor trailers Monday and delivered to storm-stricken towns in south Jersey.

St. Aloysius Church and Trinity Academy are collecting frozen turkeys and turkey breast on Monday, from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Pull up to the gym entrance and a volunteer will take take your donations out for you.

—Results are expected by end of day Monday for the Caldwell Council election—the only race in the county that remains to be called.

—The West Essex Board of Education will hold a regular meeting Monday at 7:30 p.m.

Congregation Agudath Israel of West Essex will collect kosher turkeys on Tuesday.

—The Caldwell Council will meet Tuesday at 7 p.m. and the West Caldwell Council will convene Tuesday at 7:15 p.m.

Caldwell-West Caldwell and West Essex Schools have early dismissal Wednesday and are off Thursday and Friday for the Thanksgiving holiday. 

—The Caldwell Chiefs football team will travel to Verona on Thanksgiving Day. Kick-off is at 10 a.m.
