Caldwell Mother Participates in Nurse-In at Willowbrook Mall

Nursing mothers across country show support for Texas mom who says she was harassed for breastfeeding in public.

A Caldwell mother was one of a half-dozen nursing moms to participate in a national nurse-in last weekend at Willowbrook Mall.

Lauren Benyo stood outside the Hollister with her 8-month-old son Saturday to show support for a mother from Texas who said she was harrassed for nursing her child outside a Hollister in Houston's Galleria.

Benyo told Barista Kids the point was not to promote nursing versus formula feeding. She said the goal is to "normalize" breastfeeding so that mothers can feel comfortable feeding their children when they are hungry regardless of where they are.

Inspiring! Yes, Mothers should be able to nurse their children whenever and wherever. Everyone has common sense and nurse when necessary. No, USA should lighten up. Look, we anywhere and onserve 'pants to the ground' on men and women which is far more uncomfortable 'events' than the beauty that are called mothers feeding their children. Good for you ladies!
