MY STORY:
I’d like to introduce myself to you! My name is Purricila and as you can see I have a beautiful, silky soft, shiny, long-haired black coat and I know I’m gorgeous. I walk around and strut my stuff and I love getting attention from people. I’ve got a sassy attitude and a lot of personality and like being a clown and playing with toys. You can usually find my cage easily because I like to stick my two black furry front paws out through the bars and rest them there; that’s my signature Purricila pose!

I’m currently searching for a home with a playful owner that will treat me like the queen that I am! I’ve been at the shelter for a while, and the only option that I have is to wait patiently, as I have for a very long time, and see, smell and hear the same things every day, when all I really want is to be in a home where maybe instead of staring out through metal bars I can stare out the window and watch cars, birds and people and be able to cuddle with someone for awhile instead of just being alone in my cage.

Even though I’ve been so lonely and bored in my shelter cage for what seems like forever, I still hold out hope that someone might love me one day and I watch the door carefully every time someone comes in to visit and think that maybe this time its going to be the person that I’ve been waiting for to take me with them. Please come to meet me and maybe you can be my long awaited forever home! When I see you come through the door, I promise if you just give me a chance and stop at my cage for awhile you’ll love me, but not as much as I’ll love you for rescuing me from my shelter cage.
