Do you remember the Speer Oil Company that used to be located at 105 Roseland Avenue? One of the photographs currently on display at the Caldwell Public Library shows firefighters fighting the devastating Speer Oil fire on January 16,1969. Do you have any memories of that day? Do you know what caused the fire?
