Kids in Uniform Eat Half-Price at Cielo Restaurant

The game went into extra innings...and there's nothing ready for dinner! The family is starving! 

Cielo Restaurant in Fairfield is here to help. 

Chef Anthony Pucciarello, a local dad, is offering half-price meals to kids under 18 who show up wearing a team uniform.

The offer is good now through Labor Day, Tuesday through Sunday, at the family-friendly Italian restaurant (located right across the street from Essex County Airport - where you can watch the planes take-off and land).  

Cielo is famous for its Inside-Out Meatball (stuffed with spaghetti) and other authentic Italian-American specialties. Pizzas and burgers, too!

The discount will also be applied to children in school uniforms and wearing their favorite team’s logo.

Now is also a great time to dine outdoors and Cielo's handsome patio is ready. The paved patio offers comfortable seating for up to 60 surrounded by evergreens and perennials, with an active waterfall and strings of twinkly lights overhead. 

Of course, grilling season is also in full swing ... and meat-loving diners can count on Cielo for that as well. Chef Pucciarello is reprising his popular Grillin' 'n' Chillin' dinner special (available Tuesday - Thursday), which features a scrumptious tomato salad plus 16 oz. steak for just $22.95. Later this summer, the tomatoes will be as local as it can get: straight from the restaurant's 300 sq. ft. on-premise garden, where Chef also grows herbs and peppers he preserves and uses all year round.
