After only in business, Elegant Tile owners thought it was time for a change. When the space formerly occupied by Carpet Cottage became available, husband and wife team Graziano and Linda Trafuoci jumped at the chance to
"This is more convenient. We are right across from People can walk right over here," Graziano commented.
While the smell of fresh paint still filled the air and several boxes still needed to be sorted, Graziano was ready for business.
"We are here to help. No project is too small or too big," said Graziano, also noting he offers one-on-one consulting for his customers.
Graziano enjoys designing and renovating bathrooms. "We help put ideas together and take on the project from soup to nuts," he said.
In addition to bathrooms, Graziano also offers tile and installs it for kitchen backsplashes, floors and counter tops.
With a wide range of custom tiles, Graziano also caters to contractors, and with a newer, larger storage area comes more convenience for delivering materials quickly.
The one kink in Graziano's and Linda's move is the phone transfer. With the phone line was delayed in transferring over. However, a call to the main line does inform patrons of an alternate number to call.
In the meantime, the couple is looking forward to the Rotary/Kiwanis As Graziano pointed out, the Fair typically ends at Roseland Avenue, and Elegant Tile was left out of the loop last year.
Now that they are in the thick of things, Graziano is brewing with special projects. "I am thinking of having mosaic crafts or other tile decorations for kids, small displays and possible give aways."
In the meantime, customers are welcome to stop by Elegant Tile anytime. The store is open six days, Monday-Saturday with a late night closing on Thursday of 9 p.m. If needed, Graziano will also work with customers on Sunday.
