Iron Physical Therapy Celebrates New Caldwell Location

Center's size doubles in space with move to 474 Bloomfield Ave.

Iron Physical Therapy held an open house and ribbon-cutting ceremony last week to mark its move along Bloomfield Avenue.

The physical therapy center purchased the building at 474 Bloomfield Ave., an expanded location from its previous space two blocks away at 396 Bloomfield Ave.

Owners Dr. Calvin Geno Mayes and Meri Mayes were joined by Caldwell Council President Richard Hauser and several staff members on June 5 to cut the ceremonial red ribbon and officially open the new location. Also in attendance were patients, physicians, employees, local business owners and personal friends and family.

“We were honored by the show of support at the event. We have worked hard to distinguish ourselves from big box healthcare providers, and it means a lot that people are so excited about local, specialized care,” Meri Mayes said.

The new location, which is double in size than its previous space, accommodates the center's growing business.

“We are thrilled with the beautiful new space," Dr. Mayes said. "Owning the building will allow us to permanently put down roots in this great community where we live and work."
