Jefferson School Students Remember Sept. 11 Attacks

To a show of unity as Americans and a school community, the students wore red, white, and blue to school on Wednesday.

On Wednesday, Jefferson Elementary School students gathered around the half-mast American flag in the front of the school to remember those who were lost in the Sept. 11 terror attacks.

School Principal Tim Ayers spoke to students Sept. 11 and the importance of recognizing all of the heroes in our lives.

The school then joined together in saying the Pledge of Allegiance around the American flag. To a show of unity as Americans and a school community, the students wore red, white, and blue to school.
