Lifelong Learning Classes, Lectures Now Open At Caldwell College

Check out the upcoming fall classes and lectures at the local college.

The Lifelong Learning Institute at Caldwell College has announced its fall semester classes.

Classes being offered this fall are: 
  • Thomas Edison: The man and the myths
  • Shakespeare’s "Pericles," "Prince of Tyre"
  • Decision Making: Great decisions and their results, tragic decisions and their aftermath
  • Introduction to Jin Shin Jyutsu  
  • News and views
  • Knitting

Classes run from Oct. 2 through Nov. 15.

In addition, there will also be seven lectures on Fridays from 10-11:30 a.m. Tuition is $56 for the entire series or $10 for any single lecture, which you can pay at the door.

Lectures start Oct. 4 and will include the following topics: 

  • History of American Women
  • Real World Values
  • Virtual World and Morality
  • U.S. Foreign Policy Since the Cold War
  • Irving Berlin
  • Comparing Judaism and Christianity
  • The United Nations Security Council
  • The U.S. and the Global Struggle Against Financing of Terrorism
  • Verdi
