Traditional Music of Albania

The Caldwell College Music Department will celebrate world music in its 17th annual concert series beginning in September. 

“Traditional Music of Albania” will be presented 4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 11 in the Alumni Theatre following a 3 p.m. lecture. Accompanied by an orchestra of traditional instruments, top Albanian folk singer Merita Halili and her husband, Raif Hyseni, a Caldwell College music alumni and speed-demon accordion player, will perform music from Albania, the Republic of Kosovo, Macedonia, Montenegro and Chameria.   

Tickets are $20 for general admission and $15 for students and seniors. Admission is free for Caldwell College students.  Season and group discounts are available.
