The first Sunday in October always means one thing in the Caldwells: it’s time for the Rotary/Kiwanis Caldwell Street Fair.
The 22nd annual Caldwell Street Fair will bring more than 175 vendors and an estimated 30,000 area residents to downtown Caldwell on Sunday, Oct. 6. Fair hours are noon to 5 p.m.
Caldwell merchants, crafters and other vendors will sell their merchandise along Bloomfield Avenue, from Roseland to Central avenues. There will be rides and plenty of activities for children. Plus, local restaurants will serve their specialties and there will be the ever-popular beer truck behind The Cloverleaf Tavern at the intersection of Hanford Place.
Proceeds from beer sales, as well as a 50/50 raffle, will be used to sustain the many charitable efforts of the Rotary Club of the Caldwells and the Kiwanis Club of Caldwell-West Essex.
The 2013 Rotary/Kiwanis Caldwell Street Fair has many sponsors: The Calandra Family, Caldwell College, Coldwell Banker, Cloverleaf Tavern, Dial Pest Control, Paul Miller Honda•Subaru, The Doctor's Office–Urgent Care, ShopRite of West Caldwell, Essex County College, Kearny Federal Savings, Lakeland Bank, Caldwell Toyota, Four Seasons of North Caldwell, Local 68 Operating Engineers, and The Chiropractic Source.
