West Caldwell Fire Dept. Hosts Future Firefighter's Day On Saturday
Everyone is welcome to stop by for a few hours of fun and safety tips.
Children are all ages can get their chance to be a firefighter for a day this weekend.
The West Caldwell Fire Department will open its doors for its annual Future Firefighter's Day Open House on Saturday, Oct. 26, at the fire house, at 6 Fairfield Ave. The event will be held between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.
Activities planned for the day for children and families include:

- Trying on firefighter gear;
- Games and prizes;
- Spraying of the fire house;
- Safety tips from the West Caldwell Fire Prevention Bureau; and
- Fire equipment and fire truck demonstrations.
There will also be refreshments. This event is free and everyone is welcome.
