PHOTOS: Trinity Academy 5K Reindeer Run/Walk

Hundreds of runners and walkers participated in ’s 5K Reindeer Run/Walk on Saturday morning. Proceeds from the 5K went to the K through 8 Catholic school in Caldwell.

The 3.1-mile sanctioned course started on Hatfield Avenue in Caldwell and traveled through West Caldwell and North Caldwell before making its way back to the school, which is located on Bloomfield Avenue.

The top overall male and female runners, Amy Van Alsatine, 24, of Midland Park (17:19.06), and Christopher Dugan, 15, of Hopatcong (18:23.23), received $150 gift certificates to a sports store.

After the race, the holiday fun continued inside the school’s auditorium with the Jingle Jam—featuring holiday vendors, crafts, refreshments and pictures with Santa.
