A Daisy Troop thought Lincoln Elementary School could use some sprucing up, so the girls rolled up their sleeves and did it themselves — with a little help from their parents and local businesses.

On Friday, Daisy Troop No. 20135 earned a Learning Petal for wisely using resources to decorate the outside of their elementary school.

Thanks to donations from Shoprite of West Caldwell and Caldwell Nursery, the girls used pumpkins and other fall decorations to beautify the school.

Pictured above are, from left to right, back row, Alexis Dias and Jane Weinfeld; front row, Jessica Masses, Nicia Peepas and Carrie Winter.
