PHOTOS: Notre Dame Celebrates 50th Anniversary

Notre Dame Roman Catholic Church in North Caldwell celebrated its 50th anniversary on Sunday, June 10.

The 50th Anniversary Liturgy was celebrated by Fr. Anthony (Pastor) and co-celebrated by Fr. Ed Ciuba (Pastor Emeritus), Fr. Ken Herbster, Fr. Owen Hendry, Fr. Frank McNulty and Fr. Dominic Ciriaco.

The mass began with a procession of elders, as well as longtime parishioners.

Fr. Anthony and Fr. Ed took turns speaking during the homily, sharing stories about the past, present and future of Notre Dame. 

The music for the celebration was under the direction of music minister Ed Frenzel.

Following the Liturgy, about 300 people gathered for a brunch in Charlie's Place where they were led in prayer by Fr. Anthony and then were able to mingle and share stories.
