Pet of the Week: Collie Mix Named Elmo

Elmo has had both a tough life and a good life, but right now things are not so good because his owner, who loved him dearly, died. We want to make sure he gets a good forever home at his age of almost 5 years. Elmo looks like a Smooth Collie mix, is great with children, very affectionate and also good with other dogs. He still has a lot of energy, loves to go for walks, but does have seizures about every three to four months. Elmo is not on medication, because the owner thought he did better without the meds. He also likes to be with people rather than staying alone and an adult home—perhaps a retired couple—would be best suited for this lovely pet.
