Library Encourages Kids to Dream Big—Read!

Caldwell's Summer Reading programs include story time, tea parties and more.

Under the theme "Dream Big—Read!" the 's summer reading programming kicked off on June 23 with a visit from Star Wars characters. The Summer Reading Finale will be Pizza With the Mayor on August 15 at 6 p.m. Here's a look at what's going on in between, which includes events for children of all ages, as well as a concert series for the whole community:

Story Time @ 10 a.m.

—Tuesday's Twinklers for children ages 3-6 runs through August 14

—Thursday's Moon Beams for children 3 and under is scheduled for July 5 and 19 and August 2 and 16

Book Clubs @ Noon

—Super Stargazers welcomes new readers on Mondays through August 6

—Dancing Dreamers is suitable for chapter book readers and runs on Thursdays July 12 and 26 and August 9

Lego Clubs

—Tuesday at 6:45 p.m. on July 10 and August 7
No registration required.

—Wednesday at 2 p.m. on July 25
No registration required.

—For children with AS/ASD, club will meet Fridays at 10 a.m. on July 6 and 20 and August 10 and 24 and registration is required.
