Photo Of The Day: Walking Wednesday At Jefferson School

Make sure your child's shoes are tied extra tight on Wednesday morning as Jefferson Elementary School kicks off Walking Wednesdays.
School nurse Maryann Rivera will keep a chart of participating students during the six-week program and the class with the highest percentage of walkers to or from school will receive special recognition from the school.
Pictured above, Jefferson Elementary School fourth-graders graders Daniel Spezzacatena, James Seery and Nick Silverthorne got a jump start on the program a day in advance on Tuesday.
