Former DEA Agent to Discuss How Prescription Drug Use Leads to Heroin Addiction

Free presentation will be held Wednesday night at Caldwell High.

A former DEA agent will give a presentation Wednesday night at James Caldwell High School on prescription drug use and how it becomes a gateway for heroin use and addiction.

The Bridge Community Dialogue & Lecture Series presents "From Prescription Drugs to Heroin: The New Face of Addiction" at 7 p.m.

Doug Collier, a retired DEA agent who is working with the New Jersey Attorney General's Office to educate the public on this topic, will be the featured speaker.

An interactive panel discussion featuring licensed Bridge clinicians and school-based counselors will follow the presentation.
