As many of you know, I was a VP of HR at an investor group of companies in Fairfield for more than 7 years and have spent an intermittent 18 years working to address the challenges and stigmas of NJ's mental health population.
My heart truly bleeds in concern of the Human condition, especially, our young developing children. I firmly believe that when our families are equipped with Health, Education, Safety and Economic Prosperity, we live in great fulfillment of our dreams.
My current studies at Montclair State University - Jurisprudence, focus of Neuroscience, has given me tremendous opportunity to work with the Governor, Senator Booker, the Administrative Office if the Courts, the Division of Mental Health and Addiction Services, the Department of Education and a number of other state and local agencies to formulate a national model of mental health court, integrative of the Division of Children and Families, which will ultimately treat juveniles and families in desperate need of mental health treatment and concurrently involved in the NJ justice system.
I can not stress enough to my friends and family that the current mental health challenges in the U.S. are of a very serious nature. Health, Education and Safety is Gov. Christie's top priorities. Crisis intervention, assessments , treatment and prevention Integrate our health, education and legal systems.
