Mark Van Buren is a yoga and meditation instructor and the owner of Live Free Yoga Studio in Northern New Jersey.  He has a bachelor’s degree in religious studies and has been practicing meditation and mindfulness for over five years at Dharma Drum Retreat Center in New York State.  He has attended numerous silent meditation retreats, ranging from one to ten days, and he even lived at the retreat center for a month.   Although he explains how he is nowhere near “enlightened,” his willingness to be aware of and open to all aspects of his life is an inspiration to seekers of all faiths.  With his gentleness and humor, Mark is bound to make you examine your own life – just as it is – facing it with honesty and compassion.
