~ Neutral Holiday Decor ~

The holidays give you an extra chance to show just how warm and welcoming your home is. Keep decorations conservative and don't overdo it on outdoor lighting. Simple white lights with a pretty holiday wreath on the front door can add just enough sparkle to the house. Place a big red bow on the “For Sale” sign with some holiday greenery, twinkling lights and elegant decorations inside to help give buyers a dose of seasonal cheer.

 ~ Remember The Basics ~

Taking care of needed maintenance and repairs are always important. A thorough cleaning and removing clutter are equally essential. Tidying up the yard and touching up the exterior appearance to improve the curb appeal can make the difference between a deal and no deal.

~ Think Warm & Cozy ~

Home staging techniques are used to make homes look bigger, brighter, warmer and more appealing. Setting a cozy scene in the winter is essential. Turn up the thermostat and light a fire in the fireplace for open houses.

Displaying photos of how the property looks in summer is also good idea.

~ Good Lighting Is Important ~

Your home may appear darker because of less daylight. Fight the gloom, turn on the lights for visitors, this is no time to worry about the electric bill. Open blinds, drapes and shutters to let natural light in.

Remember, if a home is presented properly and priced right it will sell any day of the year!
