West Essex Student Receives National Recognition
Nicholas Palatella's design of a community arts center was selected fourth in the nation.
West Essex High School senior Nicholas Palatella designed a Community Arts Center for the inner city of Philadelphia for the Synergis Student High School Architectural Competition.
Nicholas, who plans to attend Ithaca College in the fall, spent several weeks working on this design for the competition. His design was selected as fourth in the nation. Nicholas, a resident of Farifield, said she spent several months working on the submission for this contest.
