West Essex High School to Host Regional College Fair

More than 80 colleges and universities will be represented at the fourth annual West Essex Regional High School College Fair September 24 from 7-9 p.m. Carole Clarke, Director of Guidance and Student Services for the West Essex Regional School District, organized the fair for high school students from West Essex as well as students from Cedar Grove, Glen Ridge, James Caldwell high schools and Mount St. Dominic Academy. “This is a wonderful event to expose our students as well as students from area high schools to a variety of colleges from across the country,” Clarke said. “Students can begin the college admission process by exploring the programs offered at each college and meet one-on-one with college representatives who can answer their questions." This year's fair is expected to be bigger and better than last year's event, attracting more colleges and universities than ever before, Clarke said. The colleges will set up tables in the cafeterias and auditorium.
