West Essex Middle School Builder's Club Helps Hurrican Victims Through Build-a-Bin Program

West Essex Middle School Students Help Hurricane Victims

The West Essex Middle School Builder's Club collected bins and bins of cleaning supplies, board games and other items as well as gift cards for the victims of Hurricane Sandy through its "Build-a-Bin" program.

On Friday, Dec. 14, the students in the club loaded the supplies into a West Essex van with the assistance of several buildings and grounds personnel, Assistant Principal Ms. Lisa Tamburri and Builder's Club Advisor Donna Mateyka. Ms. Tamburri and Ms. Mateyka drove the supplies down to Brick on Dec. 15 to give the supplies and gift cards to a representatives from the Brick School District.
