West Essex Hires New Staff for 2012-13 School Year

West Essex Regional School District hires new staff.

The West Essex Regional School District hired new teachers, teaching aides, a guidance counselor and secretarial staff for the 2012-13 school year, which kicks off September 6. West Essex Middle School begins the year with the following new staff, all graduates of West Essex High School, Physical Education Teachers Bettina Mianulli of North Caldwell and Donna Sciacchitano of Chatham and Teaching Aide Janine Buonomo of North Caldwell and Reading Teacher Deanna Hagel of Fairfield. West Essex High School also kicks off the school year with many new hires. These include Math Teacher Matthew Meyerkopf of Florham Park, Science Teacher Eric Johnson of Whippany, Physical Education Teacher Michael Llauget of Rutherford, Biology Teacher Daniella Colabelli of West Orange, Science Teacher Stefanie Benson of New Brunswick (formerly from San Francisco), and Science Teacher Tim Cullen of Riverdale, Teaching Aide Michael D'Urso (a West Essex graduate), English Teacher Christopher Hermosilla of Lincoln Park, Science Teacher Marion Callahan of Bloomfield, Spanish Teacher Sueanne Pace of Elmwood Park and Freshman Guidance Counselor Marlene Goudreau. West Essex also welcomes five new members of its support staff for the 2012-13 School year. These include High School Teaching Aide Michael D'Urso of Fairfield, High School Secretary Barbara Reynolds of Cedar Grove and Middle School Secretary Elizabeth Hoaire of Fairfield, Middle School Teaching Aide Janine Buonomo of North Caldwell and Louise Fredo of West Caldwell, Administrative Assistant to the Director of Curriculum and Instruction. Both D'Urso and Buonomo are graduates of West Essex.
