West Essex High School Student Council recognizes support staff at annual Thanksgiving Italian feast.

The West Essex High School Student Council recognized School District support staff at its annual Thanksgiving Support Luncheon on Nov. 21.

Staff enjoyed an Italian feast and a buffet of desserts. The Student Council named Custodian Donna Nucera as support staff member of the year for always doing her job with a smile and overcoming many obstacles. They also recognized Building and Grounds Supervisor Brian Shanley and his staff for keeping the school grounds in such wonderful condition and for their work cleaning up after Hurricane Sandy. In addition, custodian Tommy Passafaro was recognized for his school spirit and attending many school events.
