West Essex High School Honors ShopRite Stars for 4th Marking Period

West Essex High School honors ShopRite Stars.

Five seniors have been selected as Stars for the fourth marking period. They are Gabrielle Roth, Grace Barretti, Valerie Tully, Michael Lentine and Benjamin Gersten. Gabrielle, a junior from North Caldwell, was recognized for Academics since she has a 4.4 GPA and takes three AP classes. Grace, a senior from Essex Fells, was selected for the Arts because of her many awards for visual arts including first place in the Caldwell College Teen Arts Jam. Valerie, a senior from Fairfield, was recognized for Athletics. She is captain of the softball team, has a high batting average and is also a cheerleader. Michael, a senior from North Caldwell, was recognized for Leadership for being captain of the basketball team and volunteer chairman at his church. Benjamin, a junior from Roseland, was selected for Service to the Community for his volunteer work at in Caldwell, his environmental conservation project and the hours he spends tutoring. West Caldwell ShopRite will also make a $1,000 donation to Project Graduation.
