Wessex Wire Receives Awards

West Essex High School newspaper recognized.

The Wessex Wire Received 905 out of a possible 1000 points in the 2012 Garden State Scholastic Press Association's annual competition earlier this fall. Several students also won additional awards in the "B" division for schools with 900-1,499 students.

"I am so proud of the Wessex Wire staff!" said newspaper advisor Cassandra Lo. "The students work very hard on each edition of the newspaper and deserve the recognition."

Most of the students graduated in June.
