Take A Glimpse Into 18th-Cenutry Caldwell Living On Thursday

As part of Read Across West Caldwell, the West Caldwell Public Library will present the lecture 18th-Century Life In Caldwell with Dr. Beverly W. Crifasi on Thursday at 7 p.m. 

Dr. Crifasi, vice president and historian of the Historical Society of West Caldwell, will explore how Caldwell residents, during the French Revolution, were coping with the Whiskey Rebellion and adjusting to life under the new federal laws enacted by the newly endorsed United States Constitution. Have fun weaving together at the Caldwell Public Library! If you're new to rainbow weaving, come learn.  if you're a weaving wizard, come share your secrets! The program will begin at 3:30 p.m. and is for children aged 8 and up. For more information, call (973) 226-2837 or stop by the library to register.
