  • The North Caldwell Borough Council will meet on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. in borough hall, at 141 Gould Ave.   

  • The West Caldwell Township Council has canceled its originally scheduled meeting on Tuesday. The next meeting will be Sept. 3 at 7:15 p.m. in town hall, at 30 Clinton Road.

  • The West Caldwell Book and Film Discussion Summer Reading Club will discuss Ernest Hemingway's "A Farewell To Arms" Tuesday from 5:30-8 p.m. For more information, call the library at (973) 226-5441. 
    • The University Hospital Auxiliarys Farmers Market will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the UMDNJ Plaza, 12th Ave. (near Norfolk St.) in Newark. There are farmers markets happening all week long. For a full listing of farmers markets throughout the week, click here.
